I hated it when I was a kid, everyone would give a gift and say this is for Christmas and your Birthday. Never had a party because all my friends went away for the Christmas holidays.
I don't care now I'm 36, as long as I'm with my family.

Three of my friends had their birthdays yesterday too (one set of twins and another girl). They still feel a bit jibbed by the whole timing thing. I reckon it's pretty cool though cos everyone is in holiday mode so they party harder! Happy birthday for yesterday!

My Birthday is january 4th, so it's close enough to warrant the whole 'dual purpose pressie' thing. It never bothered me too much, though. My 8 year old has it worse. His birthday is on boxing day. no joint presents as yet, though, but I guess it's only a matter of time...!
