Saddam was remained nobody after his capture and killing or capturing all of his clans and cronies. So there was no point in hanging him. Also, it was not possible for him to create the magic which he and his bath party had created once. infact, there is a vaccum in post-Saddam Iraq and these power-hungry people, either terroists or groups of Shias or Sunnies are trying to take advantage. And, as far as Bush is concerned, he is a Cowboy, and have you ever seen any cowboy dancing like mad after killing enemy ? This is the tradition of middle-east. Cowboys instead, simply shoot the enemy, then walk away blowing smoke off the barrel as nothing had happened.

They (Bush's) were probably praying like so many of us Americans who have compassion in our hearts and asking for forgiveness if we did him wrong or injustice. Otherwise I believe he is as relieve as I am that there is one less terrorist on this earth. May God have mercy on his soul.

it seems like it. He must be something other than dancing at his ranch. we bad weather since he's in Texas. God sent him a sign, that he better watch himself, and make wiser decision for the people of Iraq. God Save our President!

He must feel really proud of what he has done. Showing daddy that he is a big strong boy and can do anything he wants.

But seriously, this was just a show of power. Saddam's execution won't have any positive effects in Iraq, neither will it end the unrest.
