NO. He was essential to keeping the peace in Iraq. I suspect that there will be a significant increase of civil unrest in Iraq very shortly because of Saddam's hanging.

No - he was a CIA puppet & killed citizens with US weapons & support.
Iraq was bad under his control, but is much, much worse now.
Saddam was evil, but his period of mass murdering was performed with US collusion.
