NO IT IS NOT RIGHT TO HANG A KING UNDER THE FORCE OF OTHER COUNTRY. IF THE DECISION IS TAKEN BY THE COURT WHICH WAS NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF OTHER COUNTRY I HAD GIVEN THE RESPECT TO THE COURT DECISION BUT THIS COURT IS NOT AN INDEPENDENT COURT AND THEY ARE WORKING UNDER INFLUENCE OF USA.

no, of course not. im a christian, not a muslim.

first of all saddam never had a fair trial and was not allowed to call important witnesses. it is what is called a 'kangaroos' court or victors justice. thus no one will really know if saddam was guilty or not or if the usa government just lied to kill him so
israel and the usa and england could control the oil by putting up
another puppet. in addition, his lawyers kept getting killed, the trial was not open to the public and no transcripts were kept.

second of all saddam was put in power by the usa and cia and framed by the cia and mossad.

it was a bloody political assassination by the usa government and israel.

israel has built a new pipeline and is stealing oil from the iraqi people.

here is the real history of saddam. at least you can think for yourself.

saddam was very typical of 'strongman' arab leaders and if he was convicted then bush should have been convicted, then ariel sharon should have been convicted, and then arafat should have been convicted, then tony blair. and they should have had the same fate, after their trials.

where were the wmd destruction bush said they had in iraq, yet because of bush 500k arabs are dead?

most of these other posters are brain washed idiots as the usa media is all owned by a five major companies and all owned by jews.

thanks for asking this question. too bad these yahoo posters who said yes, cant know what it is to be hung in a trial rigged against you.

had a fair trail been held then bush and his father would have been found guilty along with saddam, imo. watch the video and you can see why!!

the death penalty should be outlawed.

The judicial verdict to hang him to death was given by Iraqi court. But it is well known that Iraq is not a free nation right now. Foreign forces are in command and they invaded this country to destroy weapons of mass destruction. Having found none, they began to find excuses to justify their acts and Saddam had several misdeeds to his discredit to enable them to put him on trial. Had it been done when the country was free from form occupation, it would have had a different impact on others. Bhutto was hanged to death by the orders of Ziaul Haq in Pakistan. It aroused different feelings. If one thinks along a different line, and begins to imagine as to why should a president be overthrown, imprisoned and then executed under foreign occupation, it feels bad. The tragedy is that when someone is alive there is too feeble a protest and when something like execution happens there is overreaction.

He did deserve to be punished, but i think that hanging is a bit barbaric. I mean, he killed people during the Gulf war, and that is what you do in a war. I mean just look at Bush. He's killed more people then the number of people who died in the 9/11 attacks.

Life imprisonment would have worked better. His execution won't bring about any positive effects anyway. I mean a few hours after he was hanged, a car bomb blew up and killed 30 people and injured 45 others. Maybe it was just a way to thank Bush for "freeing" the Iraqi people.

NO it is not correct to snatch away anyones's right 2 live. Yes he was brutal and dictator also. But his last day's were really pitiable. He cud be given a life imprisonment but his sudden death just before Eid will arouse communal threats all over the world and this matters more. And America's over interference in this matter will invite a number of Questions from all over the world.

Absolutely!! Although I suppose it doesn't really matter now anyway right? It has been done. We give three strikes and you're out here in America and granted you are on death row forever. But why?? It was good Hussien was taken care of right away. He murdered thousands of people including children. Its better that one be killed to spare thousands.

no,not all,.a ruler cannot be hanged.and what is done by the iraqi shia regime is completely insane as the whole arab is celebrating eid and you put saddam on death who is respected by large sunni muslim world.the time and date is both a way to give mental torture to muslim and muslim cannot forgive to the commiter of this crime.

human right#1 "everyone has a right to live". it is so inhuman to hang a leader who strived to keep his country togather, look wat happened when he left the rule, civil disorder, there are some conditions which make them do,otherwise he was not a born devil or something like that...these are the people who first wanted him to attack kuwait and iran, and now hanged him when his people became against him...he killed 164 people while the other bigger party took 6 million lives(news) ,is this justice
