I agree with you. I don't see what positive effect his execution will bring. The execution won't end the unrest in Iraq, not will it solve any of the problems Iraq is facing. I mean just a few hours after Saddam was executed, A car with a bomb blew up, and killed 30 people and injured 45 others. I still think that hanging him was wrong and capital punishment has no place in the 21st century.

Saddam was executed just in order to threat the other groups resisting against the Western invasion not because he was guilty. The real guilty ones, who never cares how many Iraqi citizens die,are those who provided him with either biological or conventional weapons and he used them to kill Kurds and Shiats;namely,America,Germany(it was proved that Germany sold the chemicals to Saddam and he used them to kill the Kurds),France,England.

Oh no they will always be killing each other. I think just because the dictator of one regime has been killed doesn't mean that his followers aren't going to try to continue his work.
Already there has been one car bomb attack. I think the world will be unsettled for quite a few days. I personally would not like to be in Iraq at the moment.
