I'm an Avs fan. This is their 12th season in Denver. They have been in the playoffs each year so far with two Stanley Cups. I guess their playoff run has to end sometime.

They still have Sakic but he's getting old and Hejduk is still playing well. I didn't think about the CBA. They are tied for 9th in the Western Conference but only two points out of first in the very weak Northwest division.

of course, with Sakic who stays the same through time, and two solid goalies, I think COlorado has a good a shot as anyone to make the playoffs

A good goalie is at the heart of every good playoff team.

Their goaltending situation is shaky with good performances here and there by Theodore and Budaj with no clear cut #1 goalie.

If one of those two can step it up in the second half of this season, you'll see them in the playoffs once again.

Good luck

Unfortunately yes. CBA hurt them really badly.
