3) He (almost single handedly) won both the FA cup and the champions league.

Didn't you see the England Portugal game at the world cup???!!
That guy killed himself for Queen and country! And he does it week in week out for his team too! His performance in the Champions league final was not even Human! He could be making and winning loads at Chelsea now too but hes not! And loyalty goes along way in my book and i ain't even a Liverpool supporter! wish we had more like him!

gearrard deserves it as he is the best example of a footballer there is professional and keeps his nose clean single handidly won liverpool two cups
