He should not only retire, but apologize for his awfulness and exile himself.

Tendulkar is without doubt one of the finest batsmen to have ever walked this earth.

The great Don Bradman, before he passed away, remarked that Tendulkar was more like him then any other player he had ever seen.

It will take a brave man to end his career.

As the saying goes... form is temporary class is permanent.

Just ask yourself who would replace him.

what i say is sachin need not retire on the basis of this performance. but it is obvious that he is not at his peak. he is floundering. ricky ponting is going to break his record for test centuries, and one day knocks as well. so that record is not going to be with him much longer. so it will be in his interest if he retires after this world cup in a blaze of glory so that everyone will remember him and give him the respect he deserves.

It is not the first time a batsman gets out for 0. If we go on kicking out all the batsman who fail to score, then who will be available to play. We should not judge a player only based on few bad performances if he had performed well in the past. in case of new pl,ayers who fails continuously in few matches, he can be dropped. however, in case of players of proven credentials such drastic steps cannot be taken.

no............ its not yet the time to say goodbye for sachin from indian team. If he is to be kicked out then what about other underperformer players like sehwag, irfan, even rahul dravid and others.

So, he's yet to serve indian cricket for more years.

No, No way
Why dont you consider his 25,000 runs in both form of the game. We all saw him in the 1st innings and he played a valiant innings of 63.You can't judge him by 1 performance
