Well if it had an impact on them,it definitely didn't had the impact US was expecting...I don't think it scared anyone,on the contrary it made them see US as a bigger threat and that somehow this threat should be destroyed ...

No. The media focuses on the most ridiculous things.
Saddam's execution is, for all intents and purposes, a minor event at this point. He hasn't been in power for over two years and is clearly not responsible for the mounting chaos over there at this moment. Nor will his execution do anything to stem the tide of violence.
At the same time, the number of U.S. servicemen killed in Iraq recently surpassed the number of 9/11 victims. High ranking military personnel who told Bush this was going to happen were fired because nobody at the White House wanted to hear it. We now know Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and that it had no WMDs. So what's really been accomplished here?
As for other dictators, they'll keep playing the game of politics as usual. Saddam won't be the first, or the last, dictator to get executed. World affairs are unfortunately seldom about justice. They're about politics and appearances.

If you mean that the execution of Saddam Hussein has frightened the people of the "dictator" ruled countries, that's wrong. No one is afraid of the U.S -believe me- the only ones who are afraid of U.S are the Arab leaders who became rulers with U.S and Britain's support.
But if you mean that the execution of Saddam has given the dictator ruled countries some hope that someday the U.S will help them achieve democracy, you are wrong. U.S is no more a trustworthy, moreover, this is a fake justice....... I mean they won't believe in this kind of justice (killing their dictator rulers while the lord of evil is alive.... G. W. Bush).

I live in a country ruled by a dictator. It ain't like he gives a **** because just like everyone else he doesn't think it will happen to him. I don't think people in my country wanted Saddam dead, they just wanted him punished while he was alive.
