Both suffer equally in most cases.
To those who aregue one way or the other,... they are obvioulsy looking at it from one way or another...
Sure,.. victem loses a family member,.. its hard,.. it will always be there to an extent,.. but they also get closure (unless the bodies never found or whatever)
To the killers family,. say he gets life,.. they watch by as he deteriorates in the system for the rest ot their lives, knowing there is nothing they can do for them, and blaming themselves for waht happened often times...
It sucks for both, theres no doubt...

I think they both suffer to varying degrees, but I think the victim's family suffers more b/c at least the killer's family still gets to see & visit the killer while the victim's family has only a headstone to visit. Therefore, I'd say a victim's family suffers more. But I don't want to deny the fact that the killer's family are also victims as well. Happy New Year.

Ignoring the ethical and moral motives for this being a ludicrous thought, how is that going to artwork precisely, say a guy is killed and his mom needs the killer killed, however the sufferers spouse does not. Nor does the sufferers father, however the sufferers son does, as does his auntie and 3 cousins on his mothers area yet his fathers area which contain 2 uncles and four cousins do no longer. Whose selection do you hear to? Are you going to have a majority regulations coverage? How do you even come to a decision as to who's seen kinfolk? are not you going to then be spending extra time asking people questions fairly than catching criminals and combating crime? And we dont have any underground cells, so are you featuring we shell out £ to make those?

Which is why aboloshing the death penalty is a joke.
