You submit your articles, simple as that.
But only certain types of magazine take articles from non-staffers so you need to check before you send anything off.

First, you write an article. Then, you find out a magazine that youd like you see your article published in. Go to the website and find out their address so you can submit to them a copy of your article. Also find out their phone number so you can call them and ask them more specific steps about the whole procedure. Once youve sent you article, wait til the next issue and see if its published. If its not, submit it to a different magazine and keep trying.

Well in the magazine that you want to submit it to there should be a number... or address. If you submit an article you wont get paid very much for it. The Readers Digest is the easier to get into

Start by becoming very familiar with the magazine. Your offering should closely matchy what you see in terms of style, delivery, tone, etc. Send a query letter with a sample of your writing and proposal for the item you hope to place. Make sure you are easily reachable and willing to tweak to better fit the publication.

you're suitable, they are incorrect, they might desire to have show you how to comprehend they had to post it. At that element you're starting to be talked words. some small mags do no longer pay, yet they might desire to have instructed you that up front. i might confer with them and attempt to get them to pay you a minimum of an honorarium - $25 or $50. next time, communicate the words in the past you post any writing. continually placed the copyright image and "copyright 2007 [or despite 365 days] with the aid of [the full call]" on the backside. If the piece became a large hit and became made right into a action picture, that would enhance your legal status!
