My friend is in a 4 yr. relationship with his girlfriend, i recently found out that she has been talking to other guys. I talked to him about it and he said that he would confront her about it, but i visited the other day and i realized that **** didnt change shes still bossing him around and still lives at his house! I know i shouldnt really try to get involved but i really dont want to see him get hurt. I tried to convince him that he could get other girls but he keeps finding excuses to go back to her! I just think that she is such a bad influence on his life and that she is holding him down, she didnt let him register for classes at the local community college. And now shes gets mad when we call him on the phone. Can somebody please give me advice on how to convince my friend that he can do so much better??

It is his life. You need to let him live it. You have told him your concerns, which is fine. Now it is time to let him make his own decisions or mistakes. It is time to butt out.

You say you don't want to see him get hurt. The ONLY way that will happen is if they make things work out. If his heart is already involved, he will get hurt when things end. However, if you get too involved, you actually multiply his chances of getting hurt worse, and you also run the risk of getting hurt yourself and loosing your friend.

Back off, no use ruining your friendship if you can't prove it. I know the whole "bros before hoes" thing but trust me it won't work. You'll end up loosing a friend, your friend will get hurt 2x as hard (loosing you and her) and you will no longer have a friend. Better to just play dumb and pretend like you didn't know $h!t and never let him know. Introduce him to a new girl that better suits him and do your best to hook them up, try and try again. Or eventually she will be found out and just be there for your friend when he needs you (NO "I told you so's").

I think you did what u could. He'll come to realize that this girl is trouble sooner or latter. The best thing you can do is be there for him when he figures it out and still be his buddy. Don't be the type to say, "I told u so." No body's perfect and they say love is blind. He'll apologize to you when he comes to his senses.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do. You should not say anything more to him, hard as it may be. You just might lose him as a friend if you don't stop. Sooner or later he will learn on his own.

There is not a dang thing you can do. Just be there when she hurts him. My best friend is married to an asshole.

It's not your business. He can be w/ whoever he wants to be with. As a friend you just be there for him when he needs you.

you cant butt in to other peoples affairs coz you deem it not right,if your friend thinks its not ok for his girl to treat him like this then he has to be the one to tell her,not you
