Canon. Make Sure it is in Dminor. I have heard a version in Emajor that wasn't right.
Although there is a funny Pachelbel rant on youtube by a comedian.

Ever since the movie Electric dreams (1984) I have been a fan of Pachelbel's Canon in D.

Pachebels Canon in D!!! I love that song! Im playing it at a concert in January. I know both his original song and the Christmas version.
