If your eyes seem irritated from using eyemakeup remover, be sure not to saturate the cotton pad. Maybe use less or first apply water to the pad so the product will be slightly diluted. You can use a facial cleanser on your eyes, but only if it is opthamologist tested. I suggest removing eyemakeup first, then your foundation and follow with a splash of water. Then follow with your freshener.

I have a wonderful alternative. Use baby lotion; it will remove all traces of makeup and does not irritate the skin. Since someone told me to use it, I tried it and it sure is an economical choice to buy.

Get rid of it. Probably has some type of alcohol or witch hazel in the product that is irritating your skin, and depending on your skin type it is hard to say. For instance if you have oily skin , i definitely wouldn't use baby oil on skin that is already oily, and viceversa if you have dry skin. I recommend Lancome makeup removers, bit pricey but you wont have any problems and can clean your skin and makeup in one sweep.

I have had the same problems in the past, so I started using my daughters baby wash (which is very mild) and followed with a medicated lotion. I've never went back.

Hon, I use baby oil and then I wash my face with my cleanser. Or I use my Oil Of OLay to take it off. And it works just as good, and it lotions my face at the same time.
Good Luck

Dilute it a bit or switch brands. A good one is Clinique Take the Day Off.

Try using moisturiser on a cotton ball, or try another brand that doesn't irritate your skin.

simply wipe with baby oil and then wash your face with soap and water. That's it.....you don't need any special eye makeup removers!
