What should be done about homeless people?

Alot of people that are homeless prefer to be that way , but there are many that cannot help it..circumstances that happened and they are having a hard time ,or there are people that are homeless that live in their own dream world because of something tramatic and you would be suprised the number of phd's and master degree people living that way .. i think that people that are truly in need should be helped,and cared for.They may not be your family but should be treated as such because they could have been your family or they could be you ..just thank goodness that you arent homeless .think about the blessings you have everyday,When you see someone truly in need try to help them or find help for them.I admit there are many people that make their living duping people into giving them money and etc but there are truly people out there that need someone to care ,even if its just a smile.It could save a life..I know its not your problem but they are human beings just like us..if you were homeless what would you want to be done...just think about it..and then decide.

The cost of living here in the US is ridiculous. Everything is radically overpriced and it's a miracle that EVERYONE is not homeless. I think homeless people should be taken care of and helped to find jobs and shetler, etc.

gas'em or something like that. give them 2 years to be homeless if your not off the streets by then you will be terminated, same as they do with dogs. cause whats the point of life if your eating out of dumpsters and sleeping on the sidewalk?

I think the liberals should step up and take care of them. They have all sorts of opinions on how life should be for everyone else.

I wondered if anyone has ever considered giving them homes.....or is that too radical?
