who should i go with for a home loan washington mutual,wells fargo or countrywide loans?

I have Countrywide and am very happy with them. Since all 3 are very reputable companies the best way to decide is who is giving you the best rate and has the lowest closing cost.

I wouldn't go straight to either of the three. Each of these loan sources also has a wholesale lending division that provides loans through mortgage brokers - usually at lower rates and costs than through their retail division. You should check around to compare costs and service so that you know independently what rates should be on the particular type of loan you need. Then you should find a lending source that has all three of those options available to you so you can choose the best one. You will almost always end up with a better loan that way.

I have Wells Fargo and have never had a problem w/ them. They also have this program to re-finance for free. NO FEES!! I have already done it once. I don't know if the others offer that.
