In the manga/anime, he sure does use a lot of paper, and i notice that he's not using a pencil. if you recall one of the rules was that you can use any thing to write in the death note.
i just think he's killing way too many people and he should start to consider using a pencil or else this anime is going to end soon.

Lol. Even until the end of the manga, the pages of the Death Note never seem to run out. Deathgod's can get new Death Notes from the shinigami king, but i don't think Light can do that.... I SAY THAT IT'S A MAGICAL BOOK. Or maybe he'll start writing real tiny and in the corners.

It seems like he would run out especially since he writes so big. It's not like he could write more than one name on each page writing that big and then writing the details of the death takes up space as well. I'm sure that this is a "magic" book with a never ending number of pages.
