Now that Saddam is gone, we can FINALLY wrap up this whole war thing. The war on terror is over, there won't be any such thing as a terrorist anymore (except in jerry bruckheimer films) The middle east will FLOURISH in amazing democracy. Peace will spread like wildfire. Our 3000 dead troops will come back to life, and the dismembered ones will begin regenerating limbs! The world will join hands and sing the praises of George W! OH HAPPY DAY!

I just want to say Jayson R is a ******!.. and I am just as shocked as you must have been to see how many idiots thought you were serious. I feel that Saddam's death was deserved and appropriate but you are right it changes nothing.. we will still be over there just as long as we would have been without him ever being captured.
support our troops NOT the war!

Uhh I don't think that just for the simple fact that Saddams neck was popped and cracked, that Bush will call off the war. It's not going to happen. We are not suddenly FREE. We still have to find and do the same thing to Bin Ladin, but I highly doubt that is even going to happen with George Bush as president. He's still going to keep the troops in Iraq. I'm sure.

I think getting rid of Saddam was an important step, and certainly the Iraqi people are better off without him. But the war on terror is with us for a while.
I think taking on the Iraqi dictatorship was a courageous and smart act, but the work has only begun. We are in for more brutality and more killing, because the evil is still out there. But getting Saddam to walk on air was an important step, well taken.

Do you have any solutions to any problems or do you just spew stupidity out of your mouth? After 9/11 we should've just sat on our hands and just let the pieces fall, right? If you have any world-changing ideas then I'm sure someone would love to hear them. In fact, you should run for office. Make sure and put your question somewhere in your slogan. I'm glad people like you aren't running the country because we would've gotten bombed several more times after ther first time.
People pick up on your sarcasm, but it's not funny. Maybe try harder next time.

I bet the Kurds are holding hands and singing praise. It would be nice to see democracy in the middle east one day and hope the muslims will come out of their caves and join the rest of us in the 21 century.

Nah, it is far from over.
US will have others in Iran, Syria and North Korea to kick before they can really wrap it up.
Well in any case, with Castro on his death bed and Saddam in paradiso, at least G.W. Bush can enjoy his New Year bash party better (unless Osama pops by of course).

Uh, I am reluctant to bust your bubble but there are two things you should know.
The War in Iraq is being fought in Iraq.
The War on Terrorism is being fought at our airports, on our highways, the Internet, and primarily in Afghanistan.
Please get your facts straight.
