Please watch this video; it's only 5 minutes and then tell me; what is the plight of mankind? Indeed, we are the most mentally advanced with complex societies, but what do we lack most right now in these times of destruction, hatred and violence....compassion. Compassion and brotherhood; 2 concepts reflected in even the most primitive beings...ants, who work together with no rebellion and who ward off evil. Tell me, are we less than ants? Or do we have the ability to create a prosperous, peaceful world?

You are absolutely right!!! The same way that we are destructing ourselves, if we would put the same efforts in love, respect, understanding, compassion, and faith, this would be paradise on earth!!!!
People don't realize that it takes and cost more to destruct,
than to construct. Where there is destruction, there is negativism,
but where there is construction, there is positivism.
Unless humanity stops thinking, on money, greediness, power, status we will always have envy, jealousy, anger,
war and loss of precious life's.

I watched the video and it was good. The only thing that was a little inarguable is that i sometimes felt that when the video said that we needed love..etc. need identifies lack and the video is to a degree presupposing that we already don't have those great qualities.
I believe that we already live in the most prosperous times ever and it is getting better every day, i think that we should be glad that it is not perfect, it never will be because humans are always setting their standards higher and higher. Think about someone from 100+years ago and sending them to our times, i think they would think they are in heaven with all of the advances and opportunities in the modern world for a successful life.

in my opinion since ants dont have our mental capacity to have the decision not to work together, a person has the option to deside weither or not he will work together. i think ego an other reasons makes them think they can do things on their own. and if there are any consiquences how bad can it be? attitude. but that works to the advantage of hatred,corupt governments or persons because togetherness is the key to many feats. but when people do get together for the same goal its very productive, but too few an far inbetween especialy lately. but i dont know of any quick cures, atempts are difused by media,money,time and other things that have become more increaseingly important unfortunatly

Ants work together to ward off evil...and this evil is often in the form of other ants who work together to attack them. This metaphor is actually appropriate in ways that you obviously haven't contemplated. Humans actually work together and get so caught up in it that they don't see the evil that they are doing.
