I'd say probably it's the best if you go as a male, that's kind of your 'base' if I may say so, unless you spend more then 90% of your life as a female so you're extremly comfortable in dresses, hats, high heals etc. It'd cost you less to go as male as well, and won't 'take away' the spotlight off the bride (on every wedding there is a danger that other female guests would unwittinngly overshadow the bride). Also as someone suggested it'd probably be more comfortable for other older guests, but it all depends on what sort of wedding it is (extremly formal or very relaxed), what their families and other friends are like etc. On the other hand it's a great opportunity for you to get dolled up (gee, every girl loves going to weddings to dress up), so if you do decide to do that, make sure you wear something more elegant, so not too much color or too bright, more subdued colors and that suits your figure, and depending on the weather where you are, more comfortable wedge heal shoes are still in fashion... If you do decide to go as a man, make sure you do dress up and go to the hens party! Either way you'll have fun! Good luck and whatever you decide, have fun and make sure you're happy with how you look in the mirror, but don't sweat the small stuff! (meaning don't be too picky and stress out for small petty reasons)

well I would ask the happy couple, they are the ones who will have to introduce you and you will be immortalised in thier photos, so it's really their decision. If they are happy for you to go as a woman, then dress down - the golden rule of weddings is never to upstage the bride! Never wear white or cream - that's the bride's colours! It also depends on how good your dress sense is ... if you can easily pass as a woman then a soft pastel two-piece suit is the 'uniform' of wedding guests. If you are still trying to find out what suits then I would ask your friends' advice and let them pick.
Good luck, hope you all enjoy the wedding.

Depends - do you want to wear a hat?? ;-) OK, I know the bride and groom are happy for you to dress as either gender, but as someone else pointed out, there are others going to the wedding, and they might not be so comfortable - especially older guests. It might make for a less stressful day all round if you go as a guy to the wedding, but dress as a woman, and go to the hen-night with the bride??

silly boy need you ask xxxx what are you happy being the most male or female? if, as i guess its female, then go as that, toned down make up, a dress is essential, a nice cream one maybe a suit, def a hat but nothing too over the top dont out do the bride lol, matching shoes and bag, but maybe a contrasting scarf say black, floral or red, have a great day and dont worry about it, you are who you are and as long as your not hurting anyone thats the way it should be...im sure your a good person and that my dear is all that counts xxxx

Go as which ever you feel more comfortable as. As a mtf transsexual i know there is nothing wore than being at an event you should be enjoying, and feeling depressed that you don't look how you want to. More importantly ask your friends, if they are cool with you going as a girl then do!, but if they feel it may be too much for members of their family then maybe you should go as a guy. But its totally up to you, and i doubt that world will end which ever you choose, its your life, live it!

whatever makes you feel comfortable, if you go as a woman why not wear a nice trouser suit and let people guess for themselves, theres always somebody that gets talked about at weddings if its you then f**k them, obviously your friends who are getting married are happy with the way you are thats all that matters as long as you show face im sure thats all that matters. x

If they're are truly happy with it, goes as a woman. The day is for them so you wouldn't want to do anything "controversial" on their big day. But if they're good with it then definitely go with what makes you the happiest and enjoy your friends happiness.
