Yes of course. Millitants are never cared to kill 100s or 1000s of people to show their strength and divide the country like Mumbai blasts. But I dont know why govt is so concerned to kill one milltant that he is responsible and confessed for Parliament Attack.
But it cant be compared with Saddam Hussain, where US being a main hidden force to kill the Dictator for no reason (on US part). It is India's own problem to be solved by ourselves and not by any Uncle Sams

This the reason that India is far far behind the USA. We think more but work less. Indians always keep things for future decisions where as the Americans are prompt.
' request all of you to come together against congress government for delaying the punishment of afjal' really? Don't you know Government people leave there ears before entering the ministry?

India should take a lesson from the hanging of Saddam Hussain, this shows a high handedness in handling the death sentence already conferred. And that it is not delayed like our India where instead of hanging till death the traitor Afjal we are providing the way and means from escaping the death sentence. It is like justice delayed is justice denied.

What lesson Indian govt can take from hanging of Saddam Hussein? His and Afzal's case are different. One is a terrorist who attacked the prime seat of Indian democratic institutions. Other person was Head of the State in another country not to be judged by India.
But Indian Govt has created a meeting ground in these two cases, the Muslim appeasement. By criticising Saddam's sentence and by delaying Afzal's sentence Congress Govt thinks it can get Muslim votes. The worst form of communalism.

Just because Afjal is a Muslim, he is called a traitor and you guys want to hang him? Is it as simple as that? Do you guys trust the law or not? Shibu Soren India' MP and an tribal leader has been sentenced with death and while passing the sentence every lawyer in India said this that " this is a rare case" that a death sentence has been given to someone. In light of the same please understand that India does not believe in ordering capital punishment right left and center. Afzal's hanging has been delayed even if he serves a life term, it is still meeting out a punishment. But that is the courts decision! First please understand, Saddam Hussain oppressed those that he was in charge of as a state head, someone who he was responsible to take care of! Afzal is the product of a hatred brewing between 2 mislead parties i.e. Pakistan and India. Terrorists are products of wrong propoganda! If Afzal wants to repent, should we deny him the opportunity! I feel the worse treatment in life can never be death. I will be facing a life full of shame and hatred from people.

Indian citizens does not want to take any lesson from this. But, surely Indian Politicians...because "Watch Dog" can hang anyone of them (no matter even PM or President) inside India if Watch Dog does not like his/her face.
So as, all politicians around the world..except the USA...that Watch Dog is there now to hang them and world has just seen a sample of it (saddam husain).

In America this happens all the time. It is called the Court of Appeals. A person sentenced to death has a right to appeal and that can go on for years, even years after their original execution date. Be patient and have faith in the process. There is a reason for ALL things.
Take Care

no . there is nothing to learn or to take lesson from hanging of saddam hussain. its a brutal act of america. and everyone should condemn it. and its no related to afzal. in iraq there are no human righnts and but in india human rights or human rights organisations are not worse than iraq. to hang one person is equal of murdering a person , with out proper inquiry. each and every indian got his right to appeal to higher court and appleal for clemency. the same process is happening with afzal. at the end of the day if he not elgible for any clemeny or if convicted by higher court of country, then only we should excicute the punishment.
once again india is not iraq to take revange on particular person with our proper procedure.
so time will decdes afjal's fate.

This is because of the national administration policy - one who comes to the Chair forsee that after five years he is nothing and he has to keep paid security personnel. British policy of punishment is that no culprit should escape where Indian is that No non-culprit should be punished. Change the Rule, unless the Rules would change you.
