Although I agreed with the idea of him being executed, I was truly surprised that the execution has been carried out. After all of the horrific things that he did and all the murders that he is responsible for, I could not see a reason why he should not have been executed. I think if he had been allowed to finish out his natural life in prison, he would have required 24/7 maximum security and extra personnel just to watch over him alone since there would always have been the possibility of attempts to break him out.

Well, if ANYTHING bad happens as the result, maybe we should have left him alive. Say 1 american dies in result of the uprising, thats 1 for 1. We are in no way, shape or form better off because he is dead. He's now a mayrter (sp?) and doesnt have to face justice for many of his other crimes. How could he face anymore justice you ask? Well, I think the acknowledgement and recognition is a good start.

He got less than he deserved but I'll settle for the hanging. Personally, I would have tied him up in the town square and invited the victims and victims' families to partake in their own personal justice. Random weapons would be handed out by request of the families. I hope that monster is rotting in hell.

That was quick! In the US, a death sentence takes anywhere between 5 and 15 years to fulfill.

That sure was quick and swift. Even my next antivirus update wasn't ready this quick from sentence to execution day.
