no, i don't think it's an entirely war torn blood thirsty world, but yeah many of the leaders sure are!!
as for taking them to the grand canyon, i wish u'd do that to:
1) George Bush
2) Tony Blair
3) V. Prabakaran ( leader of the LTTE)

If you would be so kind as to point out any period in human history where the world was not "war torn" or "Violent".

Life if violent, people are violent, hell even the planet is violent.

The problem is people think talk fixes things. Here is a little fact, Hitler, we tried talking to him. Stalin, we tried taking to him. Saddam, we tried talking to him too. What do all these people have in common? talking did not work.

It is a nice idea if you want to take them all on a picnic, but in the end it would be futile. Humans are too violent, xenophobic and stubborn to change, no matter how "advanced" we become.

and then we can all bakebrownies and light candles and look up at the stars and wonder, "Is someone really so stupid as to think that bringing a bunch of world leaders to the Grand Canyon would change anything in our society?"

Well...

It's actually the contrary.

The thirst of blood of some sick people has turned into a war.

It always happens.

But it's a very good business, dough...

It's human nature.
The struggle for dominance. It's been going on for zillions of years.
