I wouldn't call these people stupid or ignorant. I would call them idealistic.
Our founding Fathers made this country on ideals, morals AND YES...LAW. The constitution is a set of morals that is the very foundation of all law known to Americans.
Just a general statement.

Thjere are many intelligent people who are still ignorant...
Just because you have reached a level of awareness, to some degree, isn't helping matters in the long run if you are making fun of them, calling the stupid, etc... it only serves your ego... and that is a costly addiction.

Yes, I imagine there are people like that. I wouldn't call them stupid, but maybe ignorant. They don't go together. Mind over matter. It's a system that is apparently flawed. But it isn't - it's meant to be that way.

That is the secret of power. And they want to believe in it.
If you don`t believe however, this means you belong to minority group, which in present system has lesser power.
Whole history is based on little people`s beliefs. If you know how to use it you may gather tremendous power.

I think this belief has been tested and tried over and over again throughout history, and I think the biggest proponent is the church that thinks the government will do their job for them by enforcing their particular brand of morality - and by church I mean any organized religion through history that has tried this.

not, really, people tend to look stupid when they don't know what things are (not well inform), but we have no right to call them stupid for not knowing. instead of calling them stupid, you should just inform them the difference or the meaning of it. so take a loook at your self, nothing is really stupid, they are just not informed, you need to inform people okay. if you call people stupid you are just as stupid as them. okay ignorance is all our enemy
