These are the 2 dumbest statements Bush has made as president.
2. “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004
1. “My answer is bring them on.” —on Iraqi insurgents attacking U.S. forces, Washington, D.C., July 3, 2003

Hey Sonny....either you are unaware of how the government works, have never read the US Constitution, dropped out of high school before you had the opportunity to take the required Civics/Government class or are an ***
The US voting system sets the parameters and requirments for voting, election and innaguration of the President. And before you give me any crap about hanging chads, popular vote, etc... The Constitution established the voting to occur in the electoral college.
Therefore that is why he is my President and YOUR President and the President of 300 MILLION AMERICANS. Yet, I get it, you didn't vote for him but oops, his is your President...twice..what a pity for you I suppose.
If you don't like the electorial college impact...then change it. It is call Amendment to the Constitution.
You want a dumb question? Read yours. You are asking why a legally sitting President is President based on statements he has made since he was elected. Would you have prefered he say something akin to...
2. Our enemies are innovative, and we are not." And you know that when he tagged "..and neither are we" any intelligent person knows he meant that we understand they will continue to try and hurt our country. This obviously escaped your level of intellect.
1."my answer is bring them on"...what would you have said...."oh please pardon us...we are so sorry and we forgive you for murdering our soldiers so we are going to leave so you can go back to butchering your own people."
Sonny....I get the idea you have never been to the middle east let alone IRAQ. Why not grow a pair and go see how things are there for yourself instead of watching the news or reading liberal papers or evaluating a President based on 2 single statements taken out of the complete speeches.

We had 2 elections that Bush won. However you may dislike him the Democrats will have another try in '08. If they could come up with a conservative Democrat or even a moderate Democrat they'd have a good chance of winning. But as long as the party favors liberals for candidates, they'll be skating on thin ice again. And the problem is that they become more liberal all the time. Hillary doesn't count. Everybody already has her number.

Because in 2000 Republicans complained until 5 out of 9 men decided that they didn't want Democrats in office. They then took one of the most important of state rights (something all of them claim to defend vehemently) and threw them out the window and put Bush in office. The part I loved is how Republicans, who were rioting and being led by interns were saying that the Democrats were being baby's for trying to uphold a law which had been around for years.
The reason he is still in office is because a combination of scare tactics combined with religious zealotry and the fact that a president has never lost an election during war time all came together to get him re-elected. Of course, election fraud was shouted about and if these shouts were undeserved, I would like to know why Republicans went so far as to hide ballots in airport lockers in the hopes of independent investigators never finding them. Why is it that when it came to investigating Clinton's Christmas list, every Republican jumped on the boat and threw millions away while investigating things like dead people voting and more ballots being cast than people living in a county go ignored.
One of my favorite stupid Bush quotes would be the ancient anecdote (not to be confused with antidote as Bush so did during his election campaign) was
"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —President George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

Because his opponent in 2004 was a complete and utter j.a.c.k.a.s.s. I dont have enough space to write the stupid comments made by the big war hero Mr. Swiftboat.I admit GWB is no genious but look at what the alternative was, a Massachusetts liberal that was cut in the mold of Ted Kennedy. What choice did we have???I am a Republican and I am not entirely thrilled with GWB either but if the democrats could only offer John Kerry as an alternative then it as much your fault as anyones that GWB is president right now!!!!!

Because Americans constitutionally elected him twice via their election system.
I suspect it was because they thought he was the best of the candidates running. I voted for him twice and I don't like him (as president) and if I had it to do over I would elect him against if it comes to him and John Kerry or Al Gore or A Clinton.

Because he won the election. And if making dumb statements were reasons as to why he shouldn't be in office then that would rule out almost all the presidents we have ever had!

I do not trust Bush, yet back in the day, I voted for him.
EVEN more so...I do not trust Cheney......the "puppetmaster"
and then, ol' Rummy.....just looking at him made me think "HHmmmm? What? I just cant put my finger on it...ugh! WHAT is this man hiding!" So incredibly defensive. Bush always appears "happpy-go-lucky" and Cheney reminds me of a husband who is happy with his conquests of infidelity, and gets pleasures from an unknowing wive's pain.........
I am seriously scared for our country...we have come a long way from those 13 colonies breaking off the motherland of King George the 3rd!!! WHOA! I just caught that one myself..."george"...whoa! Harsh ruler, deceptive, stopping rights that all FREE peoples should enjoy...lose your freedom in the name of safety...if Katrina is an example of how we are lovingly taken care of by our leaders...then I do not want anymore leaders.....
TRUST IN GOD~RATHER THAN MAN!!!!

Because America doesn't communicate with it's government. The people don't exercise their power. They don't think. They don't read. They are distracted by materialism and they don't realize they should be involved and in contact with their leaders.
Life was designed this way by Neocon fascists who own the media and big business. Advertising focuses people on all the wrong things and that's just the way Bush and his Klan likes it.
