i glued myself for hours wating for the picture or vedio from cnn to msnbc to fox and than local networks like abc but nothing happend rather the news casters always states that the picture or vedio would be brodcast shortly which never happens. They say that they are trying to edit it but for what point if they can show those he killed lying on the street and futhermore we are shown violence graphics every time we watch movies. are they trying to get in rating

Because it is ghoulish, it doesn't become any of us to relish or gloat over the death of another and the number one reason why american networks are not showing video footage of Saddam Hussein's execution: because this is a very dangerous situation and the government and media are trying to show restraint, lest there be a violent reaction to this event.

YES....very well said Amanda. I am very concerned that they may be in more harms way now as some will try to "get even" for this. We all know the eye for an eye mentality many have there.

They say they havent aired it yet for "Human Rights" issues. Theyve been saying that from the jump. So I dont know why the newscasters are promising to air it. Except to get the points when someone "glues" themself to the television waiting to see it.

Because its tacky, and in very poor taste to show someone's death on TV. besices, if they showed it, the riots would probably be enough to start a third world war.

I hope they don't show it. the man was an evil person he was heartless. but to show his or anyone's death is in poor taste.
