Private investors only care about one thing: PROFIT. Funding education falls under charitable projects or government assistance. Getting a loan for such undertaking is very unlikely because it's a non-profit venture.
The first thing to do is to convince a donor organization that this is a genuine project that requires urgent assistance. This would involve a lot of documentations being put together to make your case, including photographs and/or videos. This could involve letters from the educational institution, local authorities, appeal from the students, estimates of the cost of the project, and also how this would benefit society/mankind. You may also need to ensure the credibility of the recipient/custodian of any donations to alley any fears of corruption.
Another option is to get information from the U.S. Government on how you can facilitate government aid to Kenya for that specific project.
Or you could do this, set up a website with all the information you have gathered to appeal for assistance. Make sure you set up a merchant's account so that people can make donations online. Once your website is up and running, you'll have to figure out how to do your publicity.
Good Luck.
