Tom Cruise. I think the film industry treated him like the golden boy for so long (because they were making $$) That he started to believe he was something more then he was. The Scientology is just an attempt to make sense in his mind why his life has taken such a crazy gifted path. He's now finding out that it wasn't that he was born some golden boy, it's the "almighty dollar" Now he's acting all weird and can't make the $$ anymore so they kicked him to the curb. It was nothing deeper then business as usual.
