I miscarried on dec 10 after @ yr of TTC. I was only about 5 wks. Had blood work done that showed my hcg levels <2, 4 days after miscarriage. Dr said that we could try again right away. Intercourse 4 days and again 2 days before signs of ovulation. What are the chances now after miscarriage and for those of you who have been through it, how long before pregnant again? Also, how long did it take for the dreaded monthly to come on?

If your doctor says it's okay, then physically it's okay. You are the only one that knows if it's okay mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Take a little time to heal if you need to, your little one will need you to be at your best when it's ready to come along.

What ever you do...stop worrying about that percocet right now!! While you would never knowingly take something that isn't best for the baby...remember that thousands of women get pregnant every year because they drank, smoked, or swallowed something that made them lax with birth control and they deliver healthy babies. This wasn't your fault, it just wasn't the right time.

Acknowledge your loss, heal your spirit, find your joy and try again.

Best wishes to you.

That could have been the reason. There are so many reasons though and you can never know. I also just had one and the way I looked at it, was it is God' way of survival of the fittest. The body exposes of the embryo because it had problems etc. I would wait at least until you get your period again to try. Imagine you need to make sure all the lining has been fully cleaned out etc if you want the next one to be healthy. I would definitely wait at least until it comes and then you can try again. I am still waiting for mine to come back and I was perfectly regular before and knew when I ovulated etc to the minute.

Wish you luck

I have had 2 miscarriages.......Ugh. I am very sorry for your loss.

At any rate, after the first miscarriage, I was back on my normal cycle the following month and I conceived again 7 months later and miscarried that baby too.

I'm done. I can't put myself or my husband through that pain again.

I would definately wait longer than one cycle before you try again.
You miscarried because your body is telling you something isnt right at this time to have a baby.

I would wait at least 3 cycles or more--you could end up setting yourself up for the same heartache if you dont.

Im really sorry for your loss.

like everybody else pretty much has said.. I would wait

the doctor said you could try again.. but is it fair to you or your body to try again so soon? no... you need time to morn and your body needs time to heal and recover.. I would wait at least 2 if not 6 months...
