:) You aren't doing anything wrong. You just have to keep in mind that Americans think that all crying means something is wrong or horrible, but in fact, new infants actually need to do some crying. This is their release of tension in the muscles and also it opens the many pockets in their lungs. As long as your little one is not running a fever, is not over or under dressed, has filled his little tummy with good warm milk, and not too much overstimulated with sounds and light and has a dry diaper, then allow him to fuss a bit. During the day keep him on his belly so that he can kick and move (to exercise all his muscles and expel gas) but in the evening I would wrap him nicely to swaddle and make him feel secure. Also, create a nice schedule for him to sleep and eat. The body is created to have a rhythm of eating and sleeping, playing and resting. If you need a good gentle schedule feel free to email that has worked so perfectly for babies and mommies (including 2 of my own and 8 newborn babies awaiting adoption.) God Bless and enjoy your baby. diannatriplett@yahoo.com

Is it right now? If you have an access to a microwave get some of your baby's receiving blanket (maybe two) and heat it for 30 seconds or 1 minute. Make sure that it's not too hot just warm enough (a little warmer than his body temperature). Fold the first one and put it on his tummy on top of his shirt and wrap the second one all around it to held it in place. I believe your son may be suffering from gas pain. I learned this trick from a nurse last time. If this didn't work you might want to switch milk to soya milk. (I have this problem too last time).

I hope your son feels better. Don't panic just calm down and follow your instinct. My prayers for you guys......

He must have really enjoyed the ride!!! You can test that out and see if he gets quiet when you drive around the block!!! Anyway, sometimes babies just do that! Is he drawing his legs up ( is he gassy) , does his stomach feel hard at all? He might still have a burp left in there!!!! You might want to give him some gas drops or baby tylenol! If nothing works, it wont hurt to just let him cry---although that is really hard! Also, he could just be thirsty and not hungry ===or maybe needs a pacifier? just going through ideas here

How about putting him in or on something that vibrates? A vibrating bouncy seat or swing or setting his car-seat on the washer or dryer (be sure to watch him so that his little seat doesn't vibrate right off of the machine). Maybe he is used to being in the car, and got used to the car vibrations. Just an idea.

He is maybe missing the hummmmm of the car.
He might have gas,,,,,,,get some of those gas drops.

Have you tried to Swaddle him? Or let him nap in the carseat (in the house that is)

He just might be going through a phase. Give him more tlc and rock him more. Relax yourself/ he will reflect your anxiety

My son would to the same to me and we discovered that he hated those blanket pajamas because they made him too hot, sometime we think they will freeze to death so we need to make them warm... it is not always the case was the weather different there?. Maybe he has gas, put him down and gently move his legs towards his belly and out it works! don't get frustrated.

The change in environment, going from a car to a non-moving place, perhaps the water differences if you use formula. Try putting him in his swing or carseat and rocking it.
