You seem very accident prone. It's almost as if you subconsciously look for ways to injure yourself or make yourself miserable.Do you feel bad about yourself or in some way insecure/unworthy? If you haven't spoken to a therapist, I would if I were you. I am a true believer that we allow things to happen to us and that our attitude also affects the way in which we deal with what happens to us. In the end, we are masters of our own destiny.

Three possible ideas:

#1 Go to the source: Do you think you are having more injuries than other people? Watch the people around you. Why are you getting injured knees and they are not? Why are you taking a mistep on a ladder? Why do you have Hyperacusis?

This just sounds like *way* more than your share of injuries and problems.

Why are they happening to you?

You need to look at why your acts, habits and behaviors are resulting in more than your share of injuries and problems.

Then fix the behaviors.

It is that simple, and that difficult. You may need counseling. But it will be worth it.

#2. Alternately, maybe you're just suffering from your share of bumps and bruises, just like everyone else. In that case, you need to adjust your expectation. You say: "suddenly i get some injury or something outside of work, but then i go to work wile suffering" - what did you think would happen? Lots of people at work are limping from the weekend football game, have a bandage on their hand from that kitchen knife incident, etc. That's life. If you take the attitude, "it's no big deal", then, magically it is no big deal.

#3. Of course, if you don't like work, you suffer a lot more. Maybe the real problem is - you've not yet found a job you love. You will have to (cough) "work at it". Try to reach inside yourself, figure out what you want to be and what you want to do, and then - go find a job you can love. You may find all these injuries fade into the back ground.

Best of luck to you!

Sounds like your injuries were mostly preventable, might could have been prevented with more attention and confidence. Approach your next job with confidence! They would not have you there unless you are qualified and they expect an adjustment period even for temporary employees. Search the web for ergonomic methods of sitting, placing your hands when typing, and guidelines for resting your eyes periodically to avoid computer related problems.

Calm and slow down at work and pay more attention to avoid missing steps on the ladder.

I used to be very clumsy - had other things on my mind and was not paying attention to what I was doing. I finally learned to make lists and prioritize. Found that many things I worried about were not so bad once they were on a list. Hope this helps!

some of those injuries, from the limited amount you put here, are things you would have to grin and bear, but from the sound of at least one, the thing to do is to check with a workman's compensation attorney since you may qualify for workman's compensation and possibly medical treatment for the condition or conditions. you should be able to check in the phone book under attorneys and look for one that specializes in workman's compensation. Usually they will not charge to talk to you and are not paid unless they can get some money from an employer.
