At first i thought it did, now im not so sure. Is there a way i can check the components on my computer?

The simplest way would be to put a DVD in the computer and see if it plays.
You can also right click on my computer and go to properties tab to hardware and then go to device manager it will show you everything installed on your computer.

click on start, go to my computer, look at the drive your rom is on it should tell you, if not, right on your rom drive and go to properties it will tell you there

OR!!!! You could just place a DVD in it and if it does it will play if it doesn't it will probably give a message like cannot play disc please insert CD-ROM or something.
