Call the police. There is no statue of limitations for rape. She should go ahead and do something. Call the police --go with family to see them and tell what happened. She could speak to a lawyer first or after. She will definitely need counseling. So make sure she gets help. Also, tell her that her predator could do this to someone else and she can prevent it by locking the bastard up. Tell her to go for it. I got someone put in jail for calling and sexually harassing me. So I know she could get this guy put away and make him pay for what he did to that possible extent. She will always have this horrible experience with her though, but dealing with it and getting him put away will ease her mind. Good luck and prayers to you.

Does she want to tell somone? i guess it all depends on if she knows the person and they can be found and tryed for it and if she wants to go through a court case...It will be so hard for her. Theres always another option of talking to a phycologist and they can help her out it all areas and point her in the right direction with help mentally and give her advice on who to turn to and what to do next. Its so hard when you leave it for so long as all the dna evidence has gone and the biggest evidence out there to prove someone guilty. But I have so much respect for her if she wants to have this person tryed. it will be the hardest thing she will ever have to do, and she will need her friends and family there for support every step of the way. Good luck with everything:)

Six months is a long time to keep it a secret. The place she should go is the police and report it and give them all the facts. The problem with telling the police now is that there is no evidence of the rape and no definitive samples to collect for the Lab to examine. Nowadays police have a rape specialist and they have a rape kit and they usually send the victim to a hospital where they examine the lady for evidence the attacker left behind. It will be hard for her to prove rape since it has been so long.

I believe every rapper should be put in jail, for corrupting young minds. Especially wiggas, GOD I hate wiggas.

Well I would advise she seek help, sometimes depending on the girl (Ive met a few very strong young women) she might experience a delayed reaction. Maybe even run from the first hint of attraction by another man.
She should tell her parents first off, or a trustworthy adult.
Some girls just don't want to be labeled, and will not seek help. Even though they are the victims and clearly the guy should be castrated.

Just my opinion....

rapping is not ilegal, you may not like it but that is something else

and if it is rape ,nobody will believe it after 6 months ,you must go with in a few hours to have any impact or credibility
the cops wont even listen to that
and there is no other authority who would either
you will just make a fool of yourself if you do and end up feeling worse not better
get even on your own is all you can do .with the help of some friends if possible .

If she was rapped then she needs to go to the authorities there is a statute of limitations on rape for each county it's different so she needs to do it asap. If she dosen't know who did it then chances are unlikey that the person will get caught because the eveidence has proably been removed. As for her mental health she needs to talk to someone about it, anyone, just don't let it stay bottled up.

you know what.. I think that 6 months has been a long time and that no one is going to help her.. they are just going to laugh in her face about it. She should have gone right away and not let it go this long.. Its bad enough that she keeps it bottled.. if she does... I would say Just listen to her if she has something to say..

Rape is a crime. She needs to report it to the police. The rapist will just continue with other victims. It will be difficult because of the time that lapse. Do other girls a favor.
