Since you are 14, your skin is going to be bad- thats the sad truth. I reccomend that you drink lots of water (instead of soda)- believe it or not, that will help a lot.
During the day, when your face gets greasy, you can wash it with water and a little bit of mild soap (like dove or a face wash, or those little face wash disposable sheets- you can take them to school and then toss when done) Don't wash your face all day and don't use a harsh soap- you need some of that oil. getting rid of it will make you break out more. Pat your face dry.
As for a good product, most of them are the same (including Proactive)- they contain Benzoil Peroxide. You can use this, but use very little and try to find a brand that says, "sensitive skin". Put a thin coat on your trouble areas. If it burns or if it dries out, either use less or stop using it at all. After putting on the benzoil Peroxide, put a moisturizer on your skin. I like the Oil of Olay spf10 daily moisturizer (sensitive skin version).
Also, do your best to keep from picking at or touching your face. This one gets me every time. I notice that I break out most in the places that I have been touching my face most. If you use a phone, use some disenfectant wipes to clean it off daily- same concept: the oil and bacteria from your hands and face gets rubbed back into your skin.
Again, you are 14, so this is going to be the most difficult time on your face. Drinking water and avoiding a lot of greasy and sugary foods will help. When your horomones change, your skin will too.

Suck it up and buy Proactive. I go to the mall and just buy the cleanser, but to join the club and order over the phone, there is an introductory offer for about 20 dollars for all three pcs...For me, the toner makes my face too greasy and lasts FOREVER, the repairing lotion used to agree with me, but I've been using it for 9 years and I guess my skin has changed. Now all I use is the Renewing Cleanser, so I get it at the mall only when I need it and they are not shipping it to me when I don't.

have you ever heard of a save referred to as "the physique shop" Their products are actually not examined on animals and made with organic products, and in case you bypass there - i swear there are thousands of goods that can rejuvenate and revitalize your dermis! there is maximum of flavors (nicely no longer fit for human intake flavors) to choose from!
