Well, I was moving files into my 1GB memory stick and I was moving 5 files onto it, 5 came up, but only 4 were in the proper icon, the other one had 0kb, it was just FILE and the name was square square. When I try to delete it, a message pops up saying "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from source file or disk." And then when I try to move more files another message pops up saying "Cannot copy Document : The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable" what do I do?!

It's possible that your memory stick has just failed. It's possible for part of it to fail while not affecting any other files. Hopefully you still have the originals.

Well, the symptoms you described really aren't at all common of viruses. However, it never hurts to update your Anti-Virus program (which of course you have, right :) ) and run a scan.

Once that's done you should format the drive. Now this will DELETE ALL DATA ON THE DRIVE, while kind of resetting it. To do the format:

1) make sure that the drive isn't in use (aka. no programs are using it--no Windows are showing its contents). You might need to restart your computer to stop any programs that are using it.
2) go into Explorer/My Computer and find the drive.
3) right click on it and hit format.
4) Make sure that "quick format" isn't checked.
5) Hit format.

This should work, assuming your drive isn't really messed up. I would do another virus scan (it can't hurt) and then you should be good to go! (If this doesn't fix the problem and you keep having trouble, the drive might be physically damaged, in which case you'll really just need to get a new drive)

This may not be a virus at all.. I move many files like this all the time, and often, Windows may glitch in the transfere, or just not go..I would try again, or the file may be protected by its settings.

Its not a virus, it sounds like the memory stick failed. You can try reformatting it but I dont know if that will help.
