Make them do activies together. You can also have them find out about each other like they did in "Remember the Titans". Also, maybe when your working on drills with them, have them partner up with somebody that they don't like for the day. Hope this helps!

Lack of teamwork is normal for a youth team. They hardly know the importance of teamwork. Hanging out is the best way to increase team chemistry. I tried it and it works. This will definitely work because my team consist of different races and religions and skin colors. If you get really desperate and need to bond them up really badly you can try hanging out with them. I even studied with my team. Don't worry if there are a few one-man-show players in your team. Thats natural, or at least in my team. You might also leave the one-man-show players on the bench most of the game(This only works if you have at least half a team of players who don't embarress themselves in court.

to develop chemistry, they must grow together. so they should hang out together and just do some plain team bonding. remember a team with chemistry is better than a team with all stars most of the time. perfect example: team USA losing to Greece. the greeks dont have a single nba player but they beat a team of superstars. lebron james probably makes more than the whole team combined and then some.

I play for a Girls Basketball team and we are very close, have more partner drills and be sure they pair up with someone different rather than their close friends.

Time them doing lay-ups and drills like that and set a goal and when they dont make that goal make them run or do it again or make them run as a team. Good luck with your basketball team!!!!

That's a real good question. I would love to explain but there won't be enough room to do of such. So I would recommend you to watch this movie "Titans" remember the titans number one character is the Rock. This movie gave me pointers as well. I hope that it would help you as well.
