okay well i realized that our justice system here in america is`ntr really justicing anything it takes 6 weeks to even get in court for a crime and slo like my neighbor was talking about how her brother had been hit by a car it was the person driving the cars fault cause he was driving on the sidewalk (i know crazy) but anyways her brother was seriously injured and will probably be paralged for the rest of his life also alot of other damages were done that he will have to be put in a nursing home so simply put his life is ruined but she talking about sueing the guy for everything so i was thinking the guy ruinded her brothers life and now she`s gonna ruin his is that really right? is it fair? why ruin even more lives? if it happened to me i don`t know what`d id do i don`t want to ruin someones life!! just cause they ruined mine what comes around goes around right? so maybe if you did`nt sue or anything maybe you`d be okay...... i just don`t know anymore!!! everything seems so

messed up so what isright what is wrong? how can you tell in different situations? its these things that makes me want to be a kid again and not have to understand or worry about these things

im not saying the man who hit him dose`nt deserve being sued im just saying that why would you want to ruin even more lives?

Yes it is fair that she is suing this man.
Not only should he be forced to acknowledge that he harmed her brother, but the money from the law suit will help to care for the brother. Nursing homes are not cheap.

If this mans life has been ruined like you say there will be many $$$cost to help this guy keep living If you could call it that.
Of course he should be sued.Or do you think every one else should have to pay instead maybe the victims sister?Its obvious to me if he was driving up the footpath he intended on hurting some one The man that has been hurt very badly and at least the other guy can do ids meet some of the expenses

Actually, she will be suing his insurance company. Is it right? ABSOLUTELY!!! This guy's life has been devastated and who is going to pay the medical costs, the lost wages and his family's expenses? The guy that hit her brother should be in JAIL!!!
You mean to tell me this guy is going to be in a nursing home for the rest of his life and you don't feel he isn't deserving of financial compensation for his medical bills? Man, if you ever get called to jury duty in my neck of the woods I would strike you OUT.
THE GUY WAS DRIVING ON THE SIDE WALK. Not like the victim was walking in the road! This has ruined his life completely!

First you have to try him in a criminal Court. Then you can sue him in Court again for damages. You have to have a good Attorney and don't expect everything to go exactly the way you expect. Good Luck.
