The Iraq government became a puppet of the US government as soon as it was created.
You'd have to be a fool to think that Saddam's execution will all the sudden change everything or anything at all.

The Iraq government is already a puppet of the US.
Though Capital punishment is not something I'd cheer , Saddam being executed is justice delivered for the hundreds of victim he ordered death for.
However, how about meting similar treatment to George Bush, Tony Blair. They are surely bigger terrorists than Saddam.

No it will not because the United States can not afford that. Furthermore, the American People would not allow that to happen. Don't get me wrong we have a very big impact on the Iraq government we train the forces and we make sure the people who ran for office were not terrorists etc. That being said Iraq will more than likely be on good diplomatic relations with the US (assuming we don't pull out now and leave them for dead) because the people who whose to run for government more like likely backed the US invasion or at least getting Saddam out of power.

Any government, that enters in alliance with USA, becomes its puppet. As they want USA's bussiness, technology, and with that they get money, defence-equipments too. It is not USA's fault. After all, why those other nations dont work hard enough to make their nation equally powerfull, and live with dignity?
