It is very logical if you give credit for your success you will give give credit for your failure also to that same thing. If you claim that success was of your doing and failures are due to someone else ( even if it is God) you are cheating yourself.
I would even go to the extent of saying that if we have such balanced attitude in life tragedies too do not affect us much. Just think. How many people have complained to you , in all these years " Hey , the seeker, I am constantly feeling happy. What can I do to change it?" No one. Instead the same people will come and pester you about their unhappiness and tragedies and failures and blame the rest of the world for it.
Be graceful. accept that it is the grace of the creator that we are what we are. we could be worse. As some one said" I cried and cried for my second pair of shoes till i saw a man without legs!"

The credit for all my success is given to god-
god gives all the failures, tragedies for the sake of our good, for our improvement, which brings us more closer to God

I THANK God for my success and credit his help as I also thank God for his help in getting me through crisis, even when they're my fault.

The difficulties that I face in life are caused by my attempts to do what the flesh wants rather than what the spirit wants.
My failures are my own, though they are used to teach.

God expects you to work. He expects you to fail. He expects you to succeed. He also expects you to rest.
The humble man thanks God for all of it with the understanding that, without His Grace, we wouldn't be around to ponder such questions.
