passwords in your system?

when you go to a site and long in, does tat password saves back in to the system? if it does where does it go..???

Passwords are stored on your system and it depends on how the site is designed to pass or store that password. One way is to have the passwords stored in a cookie, but whether the cookie expires or not is up to the particular site.
