Yes you would find out. Most the time a family member forwards a messages to the address book and let's people know what happen to the person. I have seen it happen over the years. I have been on many newsgroups over the years and within time we always found out what happen to the person.

I think about that a lot w. my email buddy. I think "dang if this guy died how would I know?" but I try not to think about it cause its a rather silly thought.
