My wife would like me to be romantic, but I'm not. I did not have a role model to show me and it is a skill that has to be learned, practiced and honed. So what can I do to be romantic? Also, how do I make love to a woman--not just have sex. For all you woman that answer, thank you in advance.

Being romantic is most importantly about knowing what your wife likes & enjoys.... for some women it's flowers and small gifts, some may enjoy more pampering either from you or at a spa, some its about being told many different ways how much she means to you which can be appreciating things about her, noticing her new hair cut, it all comes back to paying attention to your wife. WHen she knows that you are in tuned to what she wants and needs she will be feeling very special. You will then have turned into the romantic husband she can brag to her friends about.

First, being romantic is simple, in fact you might think it's stupid. Like wake her up in the morning with a kiss, when you get home buy her flowers from time to time. Take her out for a candle lit 1 on 1 dinner. Remember every birthday, anniversary and Valentines. Try to listen to her when she talks. Tell her how mich you love her, miss her and want her....
Ok now for the making love part....FOUL PLAY before sex is very important. Like massage her feet for her,draw her a bubble bath with petal roses... or an oil massage for her back. Shower her with kisses all over her body, go down on her u know like worship her body.

first of all u need to find out what she thinks is romantic - flower and candle lit dinners are nice but some women think (due to past experience) that they only get flowers when the man has done something wrong. Personally I think u should spend time doing what she want - especially if it's something u wouldn't normally do. give her lots of hugs and kisses without expecting sex, tell her all the things u love about her.
As for making love again - find out what SHE wants and what she enjoys/turns her on, be tender & take your time.

1. romance: Walks hand in hand in the park, Bubble baths by candle light, Picnics, Roses on any day not just Valentines, Cards expressing your love on her pillow when she wakes up, Love notes taped to the bathroom mirror when she wakes up, Buying her a nice piece of lingerie, chocolates, candle light dinners, rose pedals on the sheets and pillows before you make love, and I could name many many more but I can't give away all my husband's secrets!
2. Making love to her: I'm a woman who loves 4play, taking your time and making it more about her than you, every now and again make it a point to kiss her all over, don't do it all the time or she may get bored with it. Sweet sensual kisses lasting about 5 minutes, sitting her up on the bed and getting in close behind her kissing her neck, ears, and back. you seem to be on the right track.Romance is a mood and i don't think it can be planned too far in advance.If you feel that you miss her during the day, pick up the phone and call her. The trick is don't do it everyday just once in a while..Buy her a rose for no reason or leave a note.Let your heart take the lead, be spontaneous and make love in the warm rain.
Making love...hmmm.. to me its when you get that feeling in your heart that makes you feel numbingly secure with that person.. Touching and pleasuring your partner first. Finding out what a woman wants is not always easy but i think you will figure it all out.Just don't be afraid to share whats inside your heart for her....GOOD LUCK!!!

Write a note of 5-10-15 things that you love about her..something specific, unique only to her, ie: way her lip quivers b4 she laughs, how she is your best friend & understands you like no other, cries at movies, giggles at email, or rubs your back when you make love..then gift wrap it for her. The best things, cost little to no money. Rub her feet without being asked. Hold hands & KISS OFTEN. Go out on adventures. (that don't involve the television or sports.) Ask her on a date, especially if your married. A datenight with & without the kids is precious. Love with your heart, and touch without sexual advances, as often as you can handle. You will be surprised how much more you'll get, without asking, when you give, without asking for something in return.

be romantic, not with the big plan, but rather with the little things daily.
Always try to make her feel special, like she is your shining star! You can send her email, txt msgs, or even drop a love letter (romanic greeting card will do also) in the mail for her.
And of course, call her when your apart, just to say "I love you, & miss you!" When your out, look for things that make you think of her. pick up small tokens of your love to give to her. (needn't necessarily be expensive, even her favorite candy bar shows she is on your mind!)
As for making love to her, : just take it slow, learn what she likes, if you take your time, you will notice how she is responding to different things. meet and exceed her expectations, and guaranteed she will feel loved. Not to mention she will be more ready and willing to please you, than you have ever seen.

Aw it is so sweet you are going through measures to learn! Be spontaneous! start with small gestures like cooking for her with candlelight dinner or putting one single red rose under her windshield wipers in her car. make a treasure hunt in the house for something that's her favorite. Make a movie night or go on a horse and carraige ride one night! There are so many small things that make big marks which you can create yourself! good luck with it!

simplest answer, do the unexpected. Leave a note on her pillow telling her how much she means to you, bring her her favorite luch one day that she's a work, anything that will let her know that she is on your mind. As for making love to her, remember HER, get to know her body and what she likes. Kiss her, tease her, massage her, make her feel good before you jump in.
