Probability is used to anticipate and prepare for future events. For example, using a a probability theory a teacher can attempt to change the traditional bell curve distribution of grades in their class to a more biased curve by working on the low end. As another example, in my job i calculate the probability that separate pieces of my designs will line up properly. Usually this has to do with lining up tab A with slot B or a screw with Hole1 and Hole2. Using probability, i can estimate the percentage of the time everything will fit close enough to work. I can then make modifications until that percentage is 'acceptable'.

Generally, probability is used to make the exactness of theory and paper match the inexactness of our silly universe.

So then you agree that it's possible there is a God. By admitting that you have admitted there is a probability there is a God. By admitting there is a probability there is a God then there is a probability there is a Heaven. By admitting the probability there is a Heaven then you admit there is a probability there is a Hell. Do you want a probability of going to Hell? Of course this is just using you probability argument. Kind of "Russel's Teapot" around the sun argument.

You can predict the chances of an event. Like the chances of a volcano erupting and killing everyone around it based on its history of eruptions.
