Well, what can we say... Our own brothers and sisters are against each other! And, yes, it's true that Muslims aren't allowed to "execute" anyone during ANY religious holiday, be it a Christian or a Jewish or a Hindu one and so on.....People do it, but that doesn't make it Islamically correct. I personally don't think it's right to execute anyone on such a day either, but remember... the Shias don't celebrate Eid-ul-Adha the same day that the Sunnis do (in most places, including Iraq!)....
Our voice doesn't matter to anyone, so ...

I think it was the duty of the Iraqi court and the Iraqi jury to render a decision and then carry out the sentence.
What I think, as a non-Muslim, concerning their holidays and festivals is irrelevant.
Apparently, the Iraqis had no problem with the timing of his execution - and that's good enough for me.

According to Islamic law you may not execute someone during a religions holiday.
If you are referring to the execution of Saddam Hussein he was indeed NOT executed during a religious holiday because Eid ul-Fitr doesn't begin until sunrise and Saddam was executed at 6am before the holiday began.
