I am a liberal and I am happy with the decision. Saddam was a liberal? You need to check some facts. No one wanted to see that guy succeed after what he did. Why did you have to say he was a liberal? I have to check my facts but most dictators aren't liberal.
Are you reaching for the last rung on that one? Don't worry, you republicans can still spend billions in Iraq even though Saddam is dead. You all can still do your coc, fondle little boys, and make your millions from oil. You'll be good, don't worry.

You forgot that Saddam was Georgie Boy's Daddy's close friend and daddy is a Neoconservative Republican. He and Rumsfeld cut deals with Saddam-- shook hands on guns and murders. Liberals had nothing to do with this travesty -- or all the others you Neocons want them to take blame for. Blame yourself.

Actually, a despotic leader surrounded by a group of goons, pushing their own agenda & beliefs upon the masses parallels the mindset of conservatives, not liberals.
So, you're the one who should be mourning your own.
The death of Saddam means nothing to us Americans - it's not going to bring back the lives of the thousands lost, nor will it get their courageous brothers & sisters back to us any quicker.

What characteristics of his reign or life lead you to believe that Saddam was a liberal? I'm guessing that liberals mourn the loss of every person with the hypocritical exception of human offspring of inconvenience (because sex is more important than murder).

Hussein was a right wing fascist dictator and an ally of Reagan, Rumsfeld, and former Republican Senator Alan Simpson among many other Republicans.
You should view the video of Simpson telling Hussein that Saddam didn't have a problem with America, but only with the so-called liberal media.
