i know im pretty far along but i just dont feel like hes comeing soon most people i have talked to say there first baby was late??

lol-I'll be 37 weeks soon & I've had my bag and babies bag packed for over a month

I'm currently 35 weeks and will be both buying hospital things and packing my bags for 36/37 weeks. All the pregnancy literature I've read says it's best to have everything ready by then... :) good luck!

I am currently 29 weeks and I plan on packing my bags around 35/36 weeks just to be on the safe side.

I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first child and and plan to pack my hospital bag between 34 & 35 weeks. 4 weeks to go do date may seem like a while but you don't know when your going to start labor. Its better to be safe than sorry or packed rather than not.

You are supposed to pack at 36 weeks. That's what I was told. You never know when that baby is going to come and at 36 weeks you are considered able to be delievered because your baby has hit all the growth milestones and now is just putting on body fat. My first was born on her due date my second was born four weeks before. So, better safe than sorry!

If I were you, I would. It's always a good idea. With my first I went in labor at about 37 weeks... Most women I know had their first baby a couple weeks early, so it just depends. You should go out and buy a cute new robe for the hospital, and a going-home outfit for the baby. That made me really excited for the big day! Good luck, and congrats.

every pregnancy is different. do u at least have the babyseat in the car??? yes, how long does it really take to pack the bags??? set an hour aside tomorrow and do it. worse case scenario you did it ahead of time. Good Luck :)

i packed my bag for all 3 of my pregancys like a few hours before i went to hospital i made sure i had every thing i needed it was just the finally things i put all together:)

i was thinking that i should start thinking about that and i am only 32 weeks - i would definately pack them by 36 - you never know. i dont want to rely on my husband to know which brand of moisturiser etc to pack - DO IT NOW

If you're like me, you'll need something to do in early labor! Gets boring sitting around contracting with nothing to do. I'd wait. Make sure you HAVE everything you'll need, but I wouldn't pack yet. Like I said, you'll need something to do to help deal with the nervous energy and excitement!
