Bradmans average is 99.94. Played on uncovered pitches against all available opponents at that time. His playing career was interrupted by the second world war where he lost six of his best years without having the opportunity to play a test match.
Bradmans career average for all matches is better then 100. He scored his test runs quicker then those scored in the modern one day game.
His average would have been better if he had not thrown his wicket away on many an occasion just to give his other teammates a hit.
We will probably not live long enough to see his like again

firstly its not sachin, ponting is going to surpass him very soon (at least in centuries ). sachins got 375+ ODIs and 120+ Tests to make his runs.
in terms of sheer average no cricketer can ever surpass The Great Don. the average of 99 over his entire career is something that inspires awe and wonder. they neither had the technology nor the financial motivation that is there for todays players.
he played for his country.
in bowlers shane warne may be surpassed by murali in terms of wickets, maybe, but it will be overshadowed by controversy.
but the great bowlers of the windies, ie Garner, Holding, Roberts, etc are among the greats solely because of the fear that they inspired in some of the best batsmen at the time.

If u mean cricket, Don Bradman's record batting average seems unsurpassable by any player anytime. Also Muralitharan's record of total international wickets (>1100 currently) is impassable.

Sachin Tendulkar. I strongly feel that his record for most centuries in ODI cannot be surpassed atleast in the near future if not any time.
