I dont think you will be allowed to return it
When I accidently bought a darker colour
I used it as a bronzer and for shading around my face.

Target won't return it. I work for Target. Your best bet is to pick something that looks a shade or two too light. Fluoresent lighting in stores is so funky. Some make-up lines to have a guarantee, so call their number. Others, you can buy multiple sample colors for a couple bucks and try to match that way first.

If you didn't spend too much just hold on to it and mix and blend with a lighter one,and use it in the spring or summer when you have a tan; or you if you want a store credit or a full refund (if you have receipt) tell store manager the foundation gave you an allergic skin reaction. You'll be guaranteed a full refund.

You can't return it if it has been opened. Hold on to it but get the proper shade for your skin tone. I recommend Bare Minerals. It is a powder foundation that you apply with a brush. It is wonderful, covers flaws and blemishes and looks very natural. It's a tad pricey but a little bit goes far.

Most stores will allow you to return it. Just tell them. I got the wrong color. Did not use it and would like to return it. Most stores will. Good Luck!

Happy New Year!

You can return it but in the future take your time on finding make up.

Never hurts to try. I once returned mascara that was already dried up when I bought it.
