of his life. He was a loving family man who left behind a loving wife and children. We want to put the poem on a In Memory of card to be handed out to guests. You know with his picture a poem, a picture of Jesus on the other side and then another poem and then the names of his family and his date of birth and death. Could people give me some poems that would reflect a loving man whose life ended unexpectedly. All contributions appreciated. Maybe three or 4 verses. I was going to ise the 23rd Psalm but his wife didnot like it. He loved the outdoors

There is also a poem which I am very fond of, by Louis Macneice, called 'The Sunlight on the Garden' - about how we cannot stop the natural advancement of time. One of two verses from that might be appropriate.

That is a very sad loss for your friend to deal with and she is fortunate to have support like yours.
