By teaching a generation to accept people for what they are will not make them turn out to be gay. Gays are no more confused then others. If there are some who have problems, where do they stem from? As far as being accepted, for the sake of argument, lets say we are not, what is the alternative? Shall we roam the earth like the Jews did years ago? Do we become ostricized by our own people simply because straights do not understand, and make things much more complicated than they should be? I believe God has a plan for us all, and for you or anyone to question it goes against what I believe, and to some point what the straight world claims to believe. 'Normal' people rejoice in the differences of all nationalities, races etc. But when the 'difference' is too extreme or radical, then they want laws against them, abolish them, eliminate them. Where does it stop? I could not care less what you do in your bed, nor should you care about mine. The ONLY reason it is an issue is because whom I love is what makes you and I different. What if the tables were reversed? Make an outlaw, a sinner out of you simply because I say so? Who's next, dark skinned people? Then blondes, blue eyes? Curly vs straight hair? It will soon come down to the humans being so scarce, then maybe extinct just because someone disagreed or misunderstood another. Congratulations on helping in a much smaller and slower yet just as thourough way to begin extermination of humans simply because some other's have a need to be superior. This sounds strangely familiar, doesn't it?

No we aren't confused, you are. It needs to be accepted because there is nothing wrong with it. You people say it's wrong because gays can't reproduce, when the world is already overpopulated. You say it spreads diseases when you can get them from heterosexual intercourse as well. You say it's against god when you have no evidence other than a religious text which about half the world and growing doesn't believe in.

You're ideas are archaic my friend and your morals deluded. It's not a choice and even if it was it would be their's not your's. There is no wrong choice that doesn't bring harm to others and yourself.

There is nothing wrong with being gay just like there is nothing wrong with being hetero. We are teaching the next generation that love is love and to accept that. Why starve them of that right? The next generation hopefully will not have all this discrimination and hate towards what some closed minded confused prejudiced people are teaching them. Love is love and live and let live.

I'm not confused really. I ascribe to a religious system that says that being gay is not wrong, is not sinful, and is perfectly ok. So why should we only teach the next generation your beliefs? Why are yours inherantly better then mine? I'm not confused about anything relating to my sexual orientation, however my experiance has been that many straight folks are confused about how sexual orientation works and the history of treatment of gay people over time. Since they never *had* to learn about these things, they just don't know.

You completely contradict yourself. You said "I know there human, I'm not here to judge them". Then you judge the gay community by saying "what we are doing is wrong", and "they are confused people". Yes you should accept gays, its their choice of lifestyle, how they choose to live. No one has the right to tell you how to feel, or that your wrong. I am a christian, and i believe in God. But i also believe God does not "Hate Gays" like i read in your other questions. You cannot teach people NOT to be gay if that's the way the feel, to answer your other question. So therefore, it is not wrong, its the way society made it to be.

From a Christian standpoint, as much as I hate to admit it, I see your point (althought it is from an ignorant stance).

When I first discoverd that I was a lesbian, at first I hated myself. When I could no longer tolerate hating myself, I hated God. When I could no longer hate God, I banished him and made him "unreal" to me.

Then I met someone who explained to me that being gay wasn't any more of a sin than gossiping or lusting or any other thing that anyone else does every day. For me *any sexual act that isn't with your life partner (or spouse) AND is not focused solely on the purpose of reproducing is a sin because it is LUSTING. Who has sex with the SOLE purpose of reproducing? No one really. Are we ALL going to hell? No. Why not? Because of Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins. Should not only tolerate but also accept everyone for who they are, and not judge them? Yes. God will judge everyone in due time, and those that have accepted Christ into their hearts will have eternal life.

Don't worry about the future of our children...you teach your kids what you want. God will take care of the future ;)

to the rest of my fellow gay peeps-sometimes, ya gotta just break it down for them, on their christian level, to get them to realize that they're just being ignorant. I didn't know that I wasn't going to hell until someone told me that I wasn't. Whether you believe in God or not, it is a good argument to get our point across :)

Obviously a more pressing issue is teaching people proper grammar and how to spell correctly. Then after that go out and meet and actually get to know some gay people. You may get a better understanding.

Your right! We are not here to judge. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.Teaching humanity to "tolerate" is part of life. Whether it be about religion, politics, education, etc... it's all about one's opinion. That's what makes this world we live on so interesting. I may not agree with someone but I can learn about their views. But it comes down to each person to live the lifestyle they choose. Despite the matter of other opinions.

Ya know, I'm only replying to these at this point for the points... And to see how many creative ways I can find to tell people how downright wrong they are to have this sort of belief.

All of these people who think homosexuality is wrong are deluded... And genreally bigotted... And ignorant...

But, _you_ can teach _your_ children whatever you want. _I_ will be teaching _my_ children that homosexuality is perfectly fine, just different.

Isn't there an illiterate-hillbilly section for you to ask your question? You are very stupid or just a condescending fool either way we accept you, but we don't have to tolerate such demeaning questions. Now get back to your TV dinner and illegitimate children. (rolling eyes)
